NOS is hiring a Specialist Operator

NOS Rental is seeking a practical and responsible Specialist Operator to join our team. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in hands-on work, technical tasks, and maintains a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. You will become an important part of our team and contribute to the safe and efficient handling of chemical tanks.

The work will primarily take place at Tangen 7 in Randaberg. Tasks at other locations, including Forus, may also occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practical work within industrial, production, and tank facilities

  • Handling of chemicals in accordance with procedures and HSE requirements

  • Receipt, transfer, and handling of bulk materials

  • Work involving pumps, hoses, couplings, and basic mechanical tasks

Qualifications

  • Experience from industry, production, or tank facilities

  • Knowledge of chemical handling is an advantage

  • Experience with bulk receipt and transfer is an advantage

  • Solid understanding of HSE, quality, and procedures

  • Comfortable with physical work and technical tasks

  • Experience with shift work is an advantage (evening/night work may occur)

  • Forklift certificate is an advantage

  • Valid driver’s license class B

  • Must be able to communicate in Norwegian or English
